I have come across many problems that appear to have no explanation for cause and sometimes no FIX either. I was working on a machine for a company that had a "hard drive crash". I figured I would try this drive mechanic software before I reformat the disk and loose all my data. I'm happy to say that my hard drive is back working and I was able to recover everything. The problem was a "damaged partition table" and crossed linked files.. or something like that. For anyone thinking about buying the hard drive mechanic... it comes with a 30 day money back guarantee.
